I will be randomly putting The Righteous One around the Botcon dealer room and other convention space areas for people to find. If you see me you’re more than welcome to ask for one assuming I have some on me. 
The Righteous One has a 5mm peg and is modeled after Machine Wars Hoist weapon.

Botcon 2013: Megaplex Rifle
The basic design is done. It’s a tad top heavy so having Dreadwing hold the rifle with one hand can be a challenge, especially with that open fist. Unlike the original toy this is one piece instead of a two part rifle.
My Botcon reveal schedule got messed up last week so here’s something for the end of the long weekend that isn’t Botcon related …
Chain gun this. Chain gun that. Beast Hunters Optimus Prime has a chain gun. With a few design modifications I modified my Legends Chain Gun design into one that’s inspired by Beast Hunters Optimus Prime.
Yes, the hook is a tad oversized. IMO, looking at the original
Machine Wars Hoist toy it has an oversized hook.
When you compare Fall of Cybertron Deluxe Optimus Prime to War for Cybertron Optimus Prime you’ll find a stark difference in not just size but also in look, feel, and engineering design. I was able to pick up FoC Optimus pretty cheaply since seemingly most people thought the same thing that I did.
Look at him. He’s got huge legs and feet but a tiny head, a smallish chest and funky arms. His vehicle mode isn’t bad though for some reason I can’t get the middle set of tires to lay flat on the ground. Surprisingly, my 2-year loves to play with him.
The sad thing is once I saw pictures of Fall of Cybertron Ultra Magnus I was like “WOW! Now that looks cool.” knowing all well that the figure wasn’t that great. If anything FoC Optimus is average but just because of the deco FoC Ultra Magnus is slightly better than average. 
Trying to look at Optimus to picture Ultra Magnus it was obvious Magnus needed an upgrade. Shoulder missiles or something to make the figure stand out more.
These clips are still WIP’s but as you can see they give the mold an extra 5mm port on the cab side/arms.
